“I joined Audiology Consultants when I had recently graduated from college. Judy, my mother, needed someone to do her insurance billing and accounting. It was supposed to be temporary until I started my career in business, but two years later, I was still with Audiology Consultants. I realized how much I enjoyed what this industry has to offer in bettering peoples’ lives. Judy asked me if I wanted to start learning about dispensing and I was eager to begin my next chapter in the hearing industry.
I have now been with the practice (which transitioned to Hearing Aid Consultants of CNY in 2017) for over 10 years! I’m thankful I had such a great mentor because I take great pride in my career. I thoroughly enjoy witnessing firsthand the positive impact that we, as a business, have on peoples’ lives. I truly enjoy the interactions I have with my patients and connecting with them on a personal level; I genuinely believe in treating everyone like family. It’s a great feeling when you can make someone’s journey through life easier and more enjoyable! When I can work closely with my patients and give him the hearing healthcare they deserve, there are few things that make me happier.
One of my goals for the future of the practice that my mother built is to increase the size of my professional family. It would be amazing if everyone in Central New York can hear their loved ones and actively partake in everyday life without having a hearing disadvantage. I also vow to continue to take care of my employees by accommodating their personal lives, keeping them goal oriented and offering beneficial incentives- there is no way I could operate without my staff. I want to make sure they achieve their personal, professional, and financial goals.”
